Planning a wedding is exciting, exhilarating, stressful and exhausting.

When it comes to your wedding stationery however, it doesn’t have to be outrageously expensive and we can even help to make it a little less stressful. The first thing to do is pencil in a date about three months before the event to chat with your designer and printer. Feel free to drop into our shop for an initial chat about theme, design and budget and to look at the lovely paper and card stocks we can print on for you.

It helps to keep the costs down if you have an idea of what you would like your wedding stationery to look like, eg formal or casual, a single sheet folded or rolled, a greeting style card, a gate fold card etc. You may even want to base the design around a favourite photo or two of either yourselves, or an important event in your relationship etc. That will get the design process started. Then you’d need to decide which pieces you need: invitation, RSVP card, navigation/accommodation card, envelopes, labels or mailing tubes, not forgetting the order of service for the ceremony itself. Then consider the table and place cards plus menus for the reception followed up afterwards with thank you cards. Oh, and don’t forget a beautiful poster or canvas art of your favourite wedding photo as a daily memento of your big day.

We can also personalize each invitation, envelope etc which will not only give a beautiful uniformity but save you a lot of time too. Mention this at the initial chat stage so you can prepare your spreadsheet in the right format.
